WTF EARTH FESTIVAL 2017
WTF Earth Festival is a festival in Penang created by the founders of WTF with the first event set to be held on the 2nd of December 2017 inside Penang's very own Fort Cornwallis.
100% of profits from the event yearly will be used to create Eco spaces all over Penang which would improve the lungs of our beautiful state, raise environmental consciousness not only as an issue but a way of life where inspirational art combined with nature will be used to teach the public easy methods to improve private spaces and to promote eco-tourism.
Participate in the 'Forest-in-a-bottle' activity while you learn to create your own mini eco system with a twist, get creative in body art activities, let your adrenaline rush in the Fire dance workshops, learn yoga for beginners, lose yourself in the 'Turning Junk to Funk' drum circle, experience the living energy of crystals or just laze and soak yourself into the loving vibes of the festival.
The return of the festival brings you extraordinary highlights. Visitors will be taken back in time to the 70’s where foodies can enjoy unique delicacies enhanced by nostalgia for two consecutive days. Streets such as Lebuh Pantai and its adjacent roads Lebuh Downing, Lebuh Bishop, Lebuh Gereja and Gat Lebuh Gereja will be transformed, leading you down memory lane of the good old days.
More than 100 hawker stalls will be featured at the Penang Street Food Festival, with a selection of Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines. Famous must-eats from both the mainland and the island will be brought together, giving you the chance to taste them all at one place!

GEORGE TOWN NIGHT TRAIL
The guided night walking tours will introduce George Town's architectural and cultural wonders. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is just as photogenic at night as it is in the daytime. The walking tours consist of different themes to suit your interest and will offer visitors a unique experience of Penang's capital city by foot.
MID-AUTUMN LANTERN FESTIVAL
A Mid-Autumn Festival celebration with a lantern parade by primary school children, performances by local and international performers such as the Sichuan Aba Tibetian Performance Group, Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Publication and Sports of Sanya. There will also be 20 food stalls selling local and Sichuan food.
MUSIC, FUN RIDE
A fun bicycle ride filled with music, this is promoted as the ultimate music-filled fun ride on the bridge! The Music Fun Ride is supported by Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd and Link Bike. The ride will begin from Penang Design Village > Penang 2nd Bridge (JSAHMS) > Penang Design Village.The route covers 42km and will be a fun ride, not a race.
